We stayed at this hotel when we were competing at the Belmont Olympic Plaza Pool. The location is great: only 10 minutes away from the pool, and close to many restaurants. The breakfast in the morning is fulfilling and delicious. In addition, the service at the hotel was wonderful. I requested extra shampoo, and the housekeeper made sure to leave enough shampoo and lotion for several days. Plus, they were very accommodating of the fact that our team requested extra towels and returned all of them at the end of the competition. The location was very quiet, and the rooms were beautiful, with a great little gazebo and a heated pool in the courtyard.

This hotel was a happy surprise! This is an older hotel, and the outside looked a little dated, but we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable, with the bed without sags. The room was ample and clean, and the grounds were kept very clean. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again.

This hotel was selected for wedding party guests to stay. I usually stay at Westin, Doubletree, Sheraton hotels. I didn't have high expectations, but the staff and accommodations were a pleasant surprise. Nothing fancy, but a clean, comfortable room. The front desk was more than accommodating. Free parking. Clean pool. The ocean, Starbucks & In-n-Out burger are all close by! For the price, it was a bargain.

I had to go to Long Beach for a convention and all the hotels downtown were sold out. I did a search and I also had driven by the Golden Sails many times in the early 90's so I took a chance and booked it. The hotel has charm and is quite clean but is not a luxery hotel by any means. I did however have one of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. The room above was occupied and I could hear when they walked around but that did not bother me. I would stay there again if business takes me that way.
