My colleague and I were in Long Beach for a convention and chose this hotel based on the proximity to the convention center. We are sure glad we chose this hotel. The property is a 10 minute walk to the convention centre. The hotel is located on a very quiet street with many cool shops and small restaurants located nearby. There is a way cool bar called "Hayden's" half a block down the street as well. The staff at this hotel are so accommodating and friendly and always have a smile for you. When Travelocity failed to give them our paid reservation the staff and manager helped us get it figured out even though the hotel was totally sold out. (tip! - always call your hotel to make sure they receive your reservation if booking through providers like travelocity) Big thanks to Maria! The breakfast that is provided was superb! I was not expecting such a wide choice of fresh bagels, bacon & scrambled eggs, hot and cold cereals, waffles, fresh fruit, variety of juices etc. The rooms are clean, modern and rival some of the more expensive hotels. We will be using this hotel when our travel plans include the Los Angeles area.

The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The rooms have always been clean, well organized and modern.

The surrounding area had plenty of attractions and restaurants near by to meet all my needs.

I plan to stay there again.

We stayed here for one night for a pre-cruise stay. It was convenient and close to the pier. We drove our own car and the parking was underground, the interior was nice, and the room was very comfortable. The bed linens were nice, but the towels left something to be desired. We had a king bed room, there was a desk, arm chair and footstool, and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was marble and a good size. I got the feeling this place has recently had a refurib. The staff was also very friendly. Very good deal for what we paid (there's a $10/night parking fee also). I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel in a central location. Total 3-story, but I lost a long time while waiting for the elevator. Good and cheap alternative to the hotel for the train.
