I recently stayed here on business and when I called to make the reservation my rates were more expensive than what was offered online. When I checked in the night manager gave me the better rate so that was very much appreciated. This is about three blocks over and one block down to the Convention Center (an easy walk) and it is very easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Not sure if this is true of every room but I had a nice view (through the other tall buildings on the other side of the street) to the Ocean. The parking layout was a little confusing at first as they share some space with the office building next door. Self parking was about $17 and valet was about $20. The rooms were comfortable and clean and quiet. Will stay here again.

We stayed two nights right across from the Long Beach Convention Center. An easy walk to the show we were attending. The location of the Westin is great! Within an easy walk to many restaurants and bars and seemed like a fairly safe area. Our car was never used the entire weekend, we walked to meals and entertainment!

The room was nice, clean and furnished well. Just ask for a street-side or view room as the one we were first assigned to reeked of mildew. The subsitute room was an upgrade at no extra charge and was very nice (hey it did not smell too!) Overall I will return there when in the area as long as the rate is competitive!

This Westin is great. The staff was extremely friendly, the room have be updated and are very clean. The property is located within walking distance from many restraints and shops.

We stayed at the Westin Long Beach for only one night but were favorably impressed. It has a nice, safe location (some parts of Long Beach are a bit sketchy). It is convenient to attractions like the Aquarium and Queen Mary and within a few miles of a wide range of restaurants. Our room had been recently renovated and the decor was contemporary and attractive. We booked two double beds, but they seemed as large as queen beds in other hotels. The staff went out of their way to treat us well, and upgraded us to a view room. The restaurant's breakfast menu was creative and their coffee was as good as going to Starbucks. We booked using Hotwire and got a terrific rate.
