This was the WORST hotel experience I have EVER had in my life. We booked via Priceline (which had it listed as a 2 star, what a joke... Motel 6 is better than this place ANY DAY!!! All we wanted was a nice inexpensive place to stay during our wine trip weekend getaway) We arrived later in the day for check in, and the guy at the counter was slightly rude, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt as it was late. We made it to the room... gross is an understatement, and discovered that there was NO air conditioning AND the window would only open about 6 inches, did I mention that it had been about 98 degrees that day!!! Neither me nor my fiance could sleep, as we were too hot and the mattress was about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor! The next morning all I wanted to do was take a shower and get the H*** out of there, I turn on the shower and it has one temperature... SCALDING!!!! I tried to lower the temp ( which I couldn't as you needed the strength of oh perhaps the world's strongest man or a good strong wrench to move the shower knob so after about 10 minutes my fiance finely had it moved a tiny bit) until it was just slightly boiling, I had to splash water on myself slowly, turning bright red in the process, and then reached for a towel to dry myself, now we get to the gross part... they were all TOTALLY stained (took pictures to prove it!) I ended up toweling off with the only clean towel, a hand towel. My fiance at this point was not only disgusted, but slightly peeved, he proceeded to take the towels down to the front desk and to inform the man about the shower and our unfortuanate experience. He showed the man the towels, for which the guy shrugged his shoulders, no apologies or even shock... um O.K., then he informed him about the shower and the guy said "I know it works, I come show you how to work." He came up to our room and surprise surprise it STILL didn't work... one temp SCALDING!!! At this point the guy says" Well it is your fault you should have called zero and I would have opened another room for you." This proceeded to peeve me as the guy didn't even apologize, and so I slightly snapped at him about his rudeness, upon where he proceeded to walk out and leave us standing there without ever apologizing! At this point we got his regional managers card and are now trying to warn EVERYONE EVERYWHERE to NEVER, NEVER, NEVER stay at this hotel. All we wanted was an apology for the disgusting towels and non-working shower and air conditioning, but since we never received either we are done with the whole chain. If they can hire and continue to employ people like this, then that displays the integrity of the hotel.
