good for the 1 night stay we needed after an event in Lodi, then to drive to Sac to catch a plane. bed very comfortable. room very clean. can hear traffic on freeway. we felt safe and slept well.

Used to be a fancier chain so large rooms and recent upgrading. Very clean and very nice and clean pool and jacuzzi. Very good value.

Had a fridge and a microwave without asking and coffee in the lobby. There was also a small fitness room which we didn't use but looked nice enough if small.

The only mild hiccup was the night we showed up there was a man in the lobby, possibly a longer term resident who appeared to have diabetes and was having a medical issue. The woman on duty did a stellar job of checking me in while attending to his wound and trying to find him a place with more of the kind of assistance he needed. She was a star.

Besides him every other guest we saw was families, seniors or young foreigners.

Request a room away from the freeway if you are noise sensitive and know that a lot of trains go through Lodi. I sleep like the dead so it wasn't a problem for me.

I stayed here for 1 night in mid-October, on the way from San Francisco to Yosemite--choosing to stop in Lodi specifically to see the cranes at the nearby Isenberg Sandhill Crane Reserve. This was a nice motel 6. It had a clean good-sized room with a comfortable bed. My room did not have the amenities (fridge, microwave) that were mentioned in another review, but it had the basics and the price was really good. I had read earlier reviews before going about the highway and so I requested a room that was not facing it, and did not have any issues with noise. Also, it is on Cherokee Rd which is right off Kettleman (Hwy 12), providing many stores and restaurants nearby and easy access to Hwy 9. If in Lodi, I would consider staying here again.

This was a pleasant stay after a long drive. Good staff, good beds, clean rooms...everything was good at this Motel 6.
