I am still shaking. I actually had to have a police officer take me back to my room. When I got there he told me to go inside and lock the door. This hotel is in the worst part of town. It is not within walking distance of anything. The hot tub needs to be shut down permantly. It was out of order the entire time, and it was so disgusting looking. The room was dirty, there was no continental breakfast. The pictures you see on all of the websites, are not even close to what it looks like. Please take my advice and don't ever stay here.

This place wasn't bad, but it wasn't the Ritz either. It's a good budget accommodation not too terribly far from the airport. You won't do much better by the airport for under $100.

The beds were quite comfortable after a day of flying. The showers and bathroom and pretty much all the room was clean, though maybe a little bit dated.

The mini-fridge was probably about the biggest bonus in the room, the TV was basic 12-station antenna broadcast, but the room had a cool view out towards downtown, actually.

I can't really call this place 'a dump' as one of my fellow reviewers called it, because I've stayed in some real dumps and this didn't come close. As long as you don't expect too much, you'll be happy and sleep well. It's LA - who wants to sit around a hotel room, anyways?

HOtel was Ok but free transfer from airport not running that day so we had to take a cab to the hotel. They did refund us the money though. Room was big and had good facilities but photis on net show the hotel n a very positive light - so much so I had to check address to see if it was the place we actually stayed! Local area is average - felt a little lobely and desolate at nioght and the eating facilities within walking distance are poor. Good value for money though and a comfy bed - all we needed really for a one night stop.

We had just finished a trek america tour and were looking for an alternative to the Hacienda - I think next time I'd just stay at the Hacienda for ease.

This hotel is a dump!

Already before we arrived I experienced some problems.. I kept sending e-mails to get some more details about the airport transfer which is included - no answer.

Once we arrived in LA we had to call the hotel to find out how we can get there - in the end we had to use a best western hotel bus (who would have guessed?!?!?!) At the check-in the felt like they could not give us the rate I had confirmed via Internet. I did try to talk to them but I have to addmit that after a 11h flight I was not really in the moud to negociate so I just accepted the rate the finally agreed to charge.

The rooms are wery dark and not toooo clean. Staff was not very friendly and did rather understand spanish than english... we tried to order a taxi but the guy tried to get us onto different free-busses - eventhough we clearly said, that we WANTED a taxi...

well we ended up leaving a day earlier - because the hotel is out in the no-where and without car (and that was for us the case for the first day of our holiday) you're completely LOST!
