I arrived December 6 to a softly lit lobby sparkling with holiday cheer - lovely music, beautiful tree, friendly smiles at the check-in desk, and enchanting ocean view. My room was ready and in perfect condition - the housekeeping staff is so well-trained and polite (all the staff is.) The inn has now added to the breakfast menu and also included complimentary evening wine receptions and occasional treats like free neck massage in the lobby. There is now an impressive spa menu for in-room services such as massage and hairstyling for a night on the town. Everyone on the staff was courteous and helpful, and I have met the manager and assistant manager and very much appreciate how much they care and do all they can to ensure guests' total enjoyment. They offer personal attention is a most professional way. I have stayed here many times, and it is always a joy. Anything you need is within walking distance - restuarants, groceries, hardware and drug stores, gyms, and of course - breathtaking vistas. I think it is the best place to stay in the area - it is not a globally-run skyrise chain hotel, but that is what is so very nice about it! A gem in the California Riviera.

We love this hotel, especially the wonderful views from the upper balconies. The furnishings are lovely, and they deliver a basket of yummy muffins and things for breakfast. You will not be disappointed when you choose this hotel. We have stayed here several times and highly recommend it.

Spent last night, on a whim, at the Inn. Got a great walk-up rate for an ocean-view room. Rooms are large and very nicely furnished....great bath, too.
The woman at the front desk encouraged us to fill out the breakfast form and in the morning we had croissants, juice and a paper at the door. There is coffee in the room and in the lobby.
The location is excellent for seeing Laguna, shopping, eating and walking the lovely coast walkway. Will definitely be heading up there again soon. And we will plan ahead and use the pool!
