Love this hotel! Had a 2nd floor corner room facing the street with a partial ocean view from the tiny "secret" smoking balcony, a super comfortable king size bed, large bathroom with a fridge and a heavenly 2 person jacuzzi in the room. Terrific breakfast included, coffee 24/7, helpful staff, free parking, great location. Would have liked a microwave to warm the sake' but they do not have any. Easily the best hotel value in Laguna Beach.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay. The room was quite affordable priced and right in the center of Laguna Beach. We had a view of the ocean from our room and the rooftop deck was quite enjoyable. We slept quite well and the bed was comfortable. The whirpool tubs are huge and make for quite a relaxing trip. The hotel also offers free breakfast, free wireless internet and free parking. Makes this place quite a deal! Enjoy!

We stayed here for 2 days in November for a birthday. They did upgrade our room to a roof top room which was nice. The roof top patio area is great and quite. Nice to have breakfast up there. The room was only average but was a good price. I didn't find the bed to be very comfortable and it was noisy (squeaky). My biggest complaint was the carpeting. It was bad. It looked filthy. I made sure I always had shoes on. They did have a spa tub but we didn't use it. The shower is in the tub itself so if you want to shower, it is very difficult to get in and out of the tub to shower and difficult to stand in the tub to shower. Very small refrigerator so don't plan on putting a lot things in there. The location is good but is about a 20 min walk from the main downtown beach and shopping area. Everything is paid parking downtown and it is difficult to find a parking spot. It is nice to be able to walk across the street and be on the beach. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was ok. We had left another hotel that had a much better breakfast in downtown San Diego so I guess we were a little spoiled. Can't beat the price. Just which the bed was more comfortable and the carpet was cleaner.

The Best Wester in Laguna is one of those hotels where you stay when you have no plans on staying in your room for long, only to sleep and shower. The hotel is clean, and the staff was friendly. The location is slightly away from the "busy" area of town, but that could be a good thing. Mozambique Restaurant is next door. They have great food and live entertainment nightly. Also, you MUST visit Crystal Cove State Park which is a 10 minute drive away, and bring your sneakers. The price at Best Western was very right, especially since they have a rooftop pool!
