We expected a decent room at this resort, based upon their internet photos. Instead, we were greeted with a worn and shabby studio, the "fully equipped kitchen" cooking items contained a soup kettle and a frying pan, as well as eating service for 3, and a room with nearly bare walls, a bathroom with peeling paint, and two mousetraps located under each side of our bed! The heater is antiquated and was so loud that we had to go out and buy a sound machine to muffle it. The furniture was old and scratched, the upholstery on the chairs was stained, and the interior was generally depressing! The positives were a friendly staff, and a beautiful location. With some TLC, this place could be a winner...right now, we couldn't recommend it to anyone.

I heard crickets at night not traffic or yelling during my 4-night stay. I found true value in this peaceful green haven down a short country road from PCH. The grounds, golfcourse, pool and interiors are well kept with a cathedral ceiling in my 1BR suite. But if you need new, loud and trendy look elsewhere. This resort is a classic.

We were shocked at first at how dated and old the room was. Stained carpet, ripped curtains, had to put pillows under the couch cushion in order to sit in it. Not enough outlets to plug computer and cell phones conveniently. Very limited items in the kitchen. No mirrors in the bedroom. However, it felt clean enough and was large enough to host a big group of people the weekend of a wedding. But brought chairs in. Good location.
