We really enjoyed the dog friendly property. The room was large, and had a full kitchen. We had friends staying on property as well, and we had plenty of space to have everyone in the living room together.

The rooms was super. We had a studio suite. We really appreciated the full kitchen. The room appeared to be recently remodeled with new tile and fixtures in the bathroom and new tile and counters in the kitchen. The bed was pretty comfortable. We had a great view from our patio of the Aliso Creek. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was only about a ten minute walk to the beach and to the closest grocery store. The room was clean. the only thing outdated in our room was the table and chairs, they appeared to be a little old. Loved that this property allowed pets. The staff was really great. ALL were nice.

We stayed at Aliso Creek for 2 weeks with our family. It is great for an extended stay, as the room we had was more like a duplex apartment, with plenty of space for us and our 5 kids. They also provide a large fridge, again, great for a large family, and full kitchen with an electric range, dishes, pots, etc.

As I work in an NYC hotel myself, it's interesting to note the decor of other hotels; their theme seems to be a nature theme, with the beds made out of unfinished tree branches, and rowboat oars hanging on the wall, as well as a bird feeder in the room. It had a sweet and natural charm to it.

All the staff we had contact with, the front desk, chambermaids, groundskeepers, were all friendly and eager to help us with any regular or special requests.

Also, Laguna Beach is close enough to LA (we drove to Disneyland every day for a week) that we preferred to stay there over LA, which we are not crazy about.

Very clean, dated, lacks ammenities, but nice grounds and very peaceful. The grounds are well kept, the rooms are very clean, made for a very affordable long weekend. We traveled 2 couples and were able to splurge on restaurants and shopping rather than the hotel.
