I've stayed here several times and this hotel continues to deliver a great experience and value each time. The staff is friendly, warm and truly go out of thier way to ensure what you need and/or desire is delivered. Along with your comfortable and clean room, you also receive two waters, fresh fruit and a basket with snacks delivered to your room each day. This trip there were danish and nuts for enjoying. I'd recommend staying on the second floor, as there is a view of the Pacific ocean. From room 211, I could sit at the table and work on my laptop and get my "fix" of the ocean, even though I had to work indoors. Enjoyed walks at nearby Heisler Park each morning and night as well.

What a great place to stay, it is within walking distance of Laguna Beach and all the restaurants and shopping. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to welcome us. The room was spacious and very clean with a balcony you could see the ocean. Our room had a refrigerator and a coffee machine, with coffee refills everyday. And they also provided a basket full of goodies each day with snacks. Free parking was a plus also, great value everywhere at this very nice boutique hotel.

This place boasted quite large rooms with comfy beds. It provides you with basic amenities and a pool as well. Situated walking distance to beautiful scenery of the beaches, this place is fantastic to stay at!
It was walking distance to the shops and restaurants and provided free parking and wii fi as well!
The man at the front desk was extremely helpful with giving directions to our next location! Great place and definitely worth the money!

I found the room really dark - I don't like having to put the lights on all the time! We had a twin room with 2 queen sized beds which was a decent size and had all the expected facilities, but it felt so gloomy. Our room appears to be featured on their website and looks nice and bright, but it must have been on a very sunny day (and they still put the lights on). The hotel staff was very upbeat and helpful however, and the location isn't bad (although a little bit up the hill from the beach front area). The bathroom could do with an upgrade. It's nice to have a balcony but it looks out over the rooftops rather than the sea - although you can see a little triangle of it through a gap (they must have been at a much higher level to get the picture that is on the website). The room was also off a central courtyard with a small communal pool which I guess would be nice in summer - but mine was a winter trip.

Overall it was ok/nice but I don't think I would choose this hotel again because of the gloom.

Laguna Beach as a destination is full of overpriced tourist shops with a ton of art galleries with the worst art I've seen in ages...I know it is a matter of taste, but even so....I think it plays on a reputation it doesn't deserve.
