We stopped here after a long day and heave day after Christmas traffic. Not knowing where we would end up I thought I have always been happy with Super 8 and have stayed at many of them all over the country. This by far has to be the worst one. I thought that Super 8 had standards that all their properties had to maintain. Obviously that is not the case. Our room was very dirty stained carpets and vinyl floors.. The non smoking room smelled like dirty cigarette smoke. There were only 2 bath towels in the room that should sleep 4 people. Had to make a trip to the office for more towels, reluctantly the desk clerk gave them to me. The room next door was very loud and obviously a party going on.We tolerated it as long as we could but when the noise woke me up at 1:00 AM I called the office to complain. The clerk did call them and the noise level was reduced but they did not go to bed. I should have guessed it was going to be bad when I saw the BBQ chained to the tree in front of the next door room. Someone was staying there long term. The room had no soap or shampoo to take a shower with, I went to the office early in the morning and the desk clerk told me that the owners do not provide soap or shampoo. He was nice and after looking through a desk found me two bars of soap but no shampoo. Looks like the standards are dropping at Super 8. Do not stay at this one ever, Drive to the next town if you have to and save yourself the trouble.

this was the worst place to be.very dirty,smellled so bad i was to tired to drive.next door few guys were drinking and smoking and they were loud.i think someone called the police,i saw them outside.you are better of to sleep in the car.that was my first and last time ever staying in place like this.never again

I was worried about staying here after reading some of the negative comments. This is, after all, a truck stop of a "town" and in the middle of nothing. I came prepared for that. However, the staff at the front desk were very kind and welcoming. It was pouring rain when we arrived but the room was clean, updated and comfortable. The water was unbelievably nasty and smelled horrible coming out of the faucet, so make sure that you bring your own. Otherwise, we had a great stay here. Breakfast was nothing to write about, but this is Super 8 for goodness sake. Is this the Hilton? No....but it was definitely fine for the price.

We were looking for moderate priced place to stay on our way to san fran from socal. It.was 102 that evening and we made three trips to the lobby because our room key was not programmed correctly. Bad start. At least the a/c worked. Luckily we were exhausted from a day of driving and were able to sleep ok. Best thing about the stay was Mike's Roadhouse Cafe down the street.
