Late at night on torturously winding coastal road, we pulled into Stillwater Cove Ranch. I suspect it was closed for the season, although I can't imagine it is much different during any season. My husband and son thought it would suit just fine for $93. The first accomodation we were shown had a king size bed and no bathroom. I repeat, no bathroom. We ended up in a cabin with two queen beds and a bathroom that was last updated in 1950. The drapes and carpeting were last cleaned about the same time. Comforter and blankets have seen better days many days ago. Huge spiders in the bathtub, and one on my bed. Freezing cold room with a space heater that was purely ornamental. The cabin did have a fireplace and one small load of wood, which helped a lot, and the sound of the crashing surf was nice. These cabins are fine for 20ish males who don't mind roughing it and want to be right across the street from the ocean, and for very good-sport females.
