“Indian Palms Country Club”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

My son rented two condos for New Year's Eve at Indian Palms.
It was great, luxurious and relaxing - Hospitality is what or American cousins do so well. We sat outside in the evening ,wrapped in huge white blankets as it was very cold. We drank champagne, and chatted quietly. A racoon shot up a palm tree a few feet from us, then saw us - and bolted back into the darkness. I'm looking forward to a return visit this year.

“Not Returning”

This place was like a city within a city. As you enter in the gates, it is beautiful. You think wow, how nice. Then you continue to progress on to the various areas which can include high class to low class. Unforturnately for us, we ended up in the "ghetto"section.
The check in process was interesting. We presented the confirmation and was still questioned on if we were sure. We were placed in a 2 bedroom condo with ONE full bath and 6 ladies. Not Good! The place was poorly decorated at most. There was ONE BBQ grill at the pool for ALL the guest to use. The community trash cans were piled high with trash and unable to close. The front desk staff was not able to answer questions on local necessities, grocery store, gas stations, restaurants etc. There were not enough towels to support the ability of the place to sleep 6. We made the best of it because it's what we do when we are on vacation but this place will not see us again. I must say the unit was clean and stocked with the necessary utensil. The units are OLD. Some cable channels worked, some did not and that depended on the TV you were watching. There was no ice maker in the freezer. My suggestion.... look elsewhere.

Our 4th of July weekend was almost spoiled I rented two Condos for my family. It is old the pools are small and very confusing set up.The lobby was closed so we needed a code to get our keys.We had kids and the people that got there after us started to play loud music took our lawn chairs started drinking and throwing up in front of our lawn we were up til 430 listening to their loud music and their rudeness.WE had knowone to complain to they were so drunk they took the umbrelas from the pool and thru them in.We did not feel safe.I rented these Condos for 3 nights but had to call expedia next morning to get me out soon.I would never go back and advice look out stay away from this nightmare so called resort we ended up at the Sonoran suites Enclave the best place ever with the best personal ever Christine and Yolanda Thank You guys for saving our weekend!

“What a great Experience!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

We have just returned home from our vacation in Indian Palms Country Club. We rented a condo from Ed Houck at Condos at Indian Palms . What a great experience! He and his wife met us at the gates and took us to our condo. Everything was just as he described it to us when we were booking. No surprises. The condo was clean and fully set up. Cable TV and free wireless Internet. We didn't need to bring anything. We got a special discount at the Golf Course by renting from him. The Golf Course, pool, gym and restaurant-bar was a treat, everyone was very friendly. We will definitely go back and rent from Ed & Rose.

“Much nicer than anticipated, will likely return in future.”

Dad, Mom, 4yr old daughter and 3 yr old son all went on a vacation to Indio, CA. We wanted to be close to friends nearby so we chose Indian Palms. After reading some lackluster reviews, we went in thinking the worst. We were pleasantly mistaken, we stayed in an older, but well maintained and clean two story condo with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and 1 & 1/2 baths. Both bedrooms were upstairs, the master bedroom was quite large with plenty of closet space, the 2nd bedroom was smaller, with two twin beds, perfect for our young children. There were two salt water pools close by which we frequented, although small, we found neither to be overcrowded while we were there. Each pool area has a gas grill for guests to use.
There are several golf courses to get your game on, as well as numerous choices for dining nearby. Cathedral City and Palm Springs are a short drive, but since we were here with our children, our trip was geared more towards family/kid stuff. We went to the nearby zoo, which was quite beautiful, a hands on children discovery museum, and even took the kids to see their 1st 3D movie (Shrek 3).
The staff was very friendly, fun was had by all, and we will likely come back.
