The property is very simplistic but the rooms are sufficient and cozy. Went for one night as we were meeting friends for dinner and did not want to deal with the rain going back home. I have been to different inns..hotels..etc and found the lack of pretention to actually draw me in. The price was decent and the suite was everything one could possibly need. Most properties were sold out or only would allow 2-3 night stay only. there was a fireplace in the room but the heater was sufficient so efficient i took a nap. Can you envision cloudy weather slick roads and a quiet and toasty room? The bathroom was adequate and the kitchenette... Nice flat screen tv with basic cable and comfy couch to relax. My eyeglasses slipped out of my bag and cheryl tried to get ahold of me before i left the mountain. Due to no service with my phone I did not receive message until later. We agreed to have my glasses sent to my home. No problem. Overall I left rested and will return again.

We loved our get away time in Idyllwild! We had a relaxing time, the rooms were clean, the air was fresh, and best of all we could take our whole family, including the dog. We had a great little kitchen that allowed us to make breakfast and lunch. The beds were comfortable, relaxing after a day hiking and enjoying beautiful Idyllwild. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Apple Blossom Inn Labor Day weekend with our 2 children and our dog. The owners were extremely nice and accomodating to all of our needs. The room was freshly painted, had a great tv and very comfortable beds! One of the nights we decided to go to the grocery store and eat in because the rooms are equipped with kitchens. We actuallty made friends with other guests that were staying at the Inn and invited them to eat with us which was SO much fun! The atmosphere at the Apple Blossom Inn is rustic, casual and very homey. Thank you Apple Blossom Inn for a great, relaxing weekend! We will definitely be back to stay this winter because we can't wait to go up in the cold and use the fireplace!

I have stayed at this location many times before when it was the Tahquitz Inn. I have to say that I am very impressed with the improvements the new owners have made to the property. The rooms are freshly painted, the bed linens are much more comfortable and are very beautiful. The rooms are done in earth tones and allow for a very calming atmosphere. Although I don't generally watch TV when I am on vacation, the beautiful flat screen TV (large one) was nice to have.
We spent the morning wandering around on some of the local trails and then in the afternoon we walked to town. It is very close to the village and it took us about 2 minutes and we were in town where all the shops are.
We picked up a pizza from the Idyllwild Pizza Company (best pizza I have had in years) and brought it back to the hotel and ate on the patio while the sun was setting. The nice part was we bought a big one, so we put the left over’s in the refrigerator in the room and heated it up for lunch the next day in the microwave that was in the room.
The new owners have really done a lot of wonderful things and they promised that when we come back we will see even more great changes. They had mentioned that they were turning one of the rooms into a sort of Art Studio kind of space. I am excited to see what that looks like and see what kinds of programs they will have.
All in all, this was a wonderful surprise to see all the changes. I love this property and will definitly return again!
