We were able to take our dog and son. Furniture was comfortable. Kitchen was great to have. The room took a little while to heat up. The owner was so friendly. He gave us a map and recommendations of great places to eat, including pet-friendly places. There were free movies and games to borrow. We would definitely return. It was close enough to town to walk. We found dog day care nearby at Love on a Leash, which was convenient.

This is a great little place! My husband and I brought our dogs to the snow for the first time and we found The Fireside Inn on Dogfriendly dot com. The dog policy is truly great - our dogs were just as welcome as we were. The owners, Larry & Pam, have 3 dogs of their own, all so sweet! Larry is so nice and friendly and helped us find a place for lunch when we arrived.

The main property, where the cottages are, is located adjacent to The Village, very convenient for walking to breakfast, dinner and shopping. We stayed at the second property, the cabins, which is about a mile and a half down 243, and had to drive to The Village. We stayed in Warbler which shares a wall with Thrush, for $85. The cottages on the main property start at $65.

The only complaint I have is that the bedroom wall is shared with Thrush and is so thin that we could hear everything that went on next door (when he used the toilet, showered, cell phone, coughing, etc) and he was an early riser - 7:30 on Sunday morning!

The accommodations come with everything one could want for eating in - full fridge, stove/oven, microwave, cookware, dishes, etc. We can't wait to return!
