I booked online. I believed the photos, the words. Don't. It's miles from the beach and looks like it rents rooms by the hour. Enough said,

Huntington Suites was recommended by a friend who has stayed there many times. It doesn't look like the Ritz but then it doesn't try to be anything it's not. The rooms are nice, spacious as a studio apartment, and clean with fresh matresses and furniture. Each unit has a kitchenette, DirectTV, free internet, and lots of hot water. There's a sparkling clean swimming pool, on-premises laundramat, and plenty of safe parking. There are a variety of stores, restaurants, and a friendly neighborhood bar right across the street. The biggest surprise is the sincerely caring owner (Ms. Song) who makes it a point of keeping you happy enough to come back another time. When ever I go to Huntington Beach this place is home sweet home!

Clean quiet motel with kitchens approx 2 miles from beach with stores within walking distance including 24 hour Walgreen; approx 2 miles to beach -you can ride the bus to or drive; no frills motel pool very nice; wireless internet access; rooms are very clean -no high priced pampering but while traveling if you are tired of eating out can prepare a meal in your room and save money too. Comes with basic cable and midsized fridge; staff and owner very nice and helpful.

This motel was a real find. We were looking for a spacious room near the ocean, in a safe neighborhood. And we wanted a kitchen. This place was just perfect for us. We rented a one bedroom suite, $100 night but we got a week for $500 (a real deal).
The Huntington Beach area is really nice and quiet and has a very low crime rate. This was a concern for me as my son would be with me.
The one bedroom suite is spacious. There is a full kitchen including a microwave. This saved us a bundle over eating out. I do have to note; however, that it would have been better if they supplied pots, pans, disher, etc. They do not so we picked a few things up at the grocery store.
We forgot a few things, but there is a 24 hour Walgreens right across the street. Albertson's Groceries is one block away and open until midnight.
The beach is two miles away. We had a car so it was too far. If we didn't have a car it would've been o.k. as the motel is right on a busline which goes straight to the beach.
And the motel does have a nice, clean pool.
They also have a laundry ($1 load washer/$1 dryer). And they have wireless internet at no extra cost. Very reliable internet, secure.

To sum up: if you want a quality vacation on a budget, book here.
