This is a hotel with an identity crisis. The outside looks like any other budget business hotel – very plain boxy architecture. The sleek modern lobby says chic boutique hotel. The rooms say…old run down Motel 6. The only good thing about our stay here is that it was a short one, a brief night. There was a small group of us that book a total of three rooms. (BTW…none of our rooms resembled the rooms in the pictures). There were so many things wrong with each of our rooms; we were surprised if something did work. Just to list the highlights – non-smoking room that reeked of smoke, a heater that would not shut off, a tub and a sink that did not drain, a lamp that stayed on only when you held onto the switch, one lamp that only turned off when unplugged, two remotes with dead batteries, one TV that only played static and a hallway ice machine not even plugged in. Additionally this hotel offers NO amenities. Seriously, not even basic cable TV. I’m not sure how this hotel can get away with rating themselves anything above one star. I will have to say the rooms were clean and the staff basically friendly…and if I had paid a “Motel 6” price…I would not be writing this review. Hopefully, it will get its act together and update the rest of the hotel so it’s not a crime for what they charge.
