The hotel is at 16301 Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach. It is a few miles from the beach. Beach Blvd is the main drag in Huntington Beach. It connects I405 and Pacific Coast Highway.
The hotel is a 3 story older hotel. There is ample parking for the facility. There are elevators to got one to the upper floors. The elevators were very large easily allowing guests with luggage get to the upper floors. The WiFi worked well on my smart phone. There was a PC in the lobby that you could use for free. You could print up to 5 pages for free.
The hotel rooms were older but clean. They were standard two bed rooms. My room had 2 queens but was a little tight. The beds had 4 half pillows. There were no pets allowed. The rooms were non-smoking. A unique feature was that there was a half wall between the beds that provided some privacy. I don’t remember encountering this in a basic hotel room before. The shower was standard and worked well. Everything worked well in the room. There was plenty of hot water. There was about a 21 inch TV that was not a flat TV. The cable was adequate but not HD.
I paid $80 a night for my stay using a senior discount. A safe was in the room that cost $1 per day. There was a closet with hangers and an iron and ironing board.
I used the exercise room. You had to get a key from the front desk. The room was on the 2nd floor near the elevator. It had a treadmill, elliptical, and some weight machines. I couldn’t get the treadmill working but I used the elliptical machine.
The room included breakfast which consisted of coffee, juice, waffles, eggs, bacon or biscuits, cereal and some rolls. It was pretty good.
I felt the room was a pretty good value. It was not luxurious but it was clean. I would stay again.
