This hotel was much nicer than most of the reviews I had read about it. We were pleasantly surprised. It is not as close to the beach as we would have liked but the price was very reasonable. We were traveling with 2 teenage boys so had booked 2 side by side rooms. The rooms were clean and there are plenty of nice restaurants close by.

This motel was a value choice and was just OK mainly for its location, a close drive to the beach area and nearby restaurants. Overall amenities were standard fare. There is an elevator, and the simple continental breakfast had some apples and oranges and fruit drinks in addition to cereal, small muffins and danish, and coffee was good. Wifi a little slow but typical. You could not channel surf on the older TV as there was a delay between the limited stations. There are no sheers on the windows for when blackout curtains are opened. Beds were comfortable. The carpet and chairs needed cleaning. The front staff was friendly, however, there was an overall dingy appearance and feeling.

Stayed here with a group of 7 early to mid 20 year olds from Australia. Service was fairly poor - staff always on personal call, took ages to attend to us when we checked in and had to tell them several times when breakfast items were out.
However the rooms were cheap (2 rooms between us) and very comfortable.
Downside - not walking distance to anywhere and the staff couldnt tell us what bus to catch to get to main street and one of the girls left a pair of Tiffany earrings and when we called to report it and say we'd pick them up they were 'gone'.
