You can have a lot of fun staying here. It's on the beach and surrounded by nightlife. The rooms are clean. The staff used to be nicer, but I think they are a little understaffed these days and the stress is showing in the customer service. If your entire vacation itinerary is going to the beach during the day and then going to bars at night to mingle with the beautiful people, you won't even need to rent a car if you stay here.

Love that this hotel is right on the beach and the strand is steps away. Location is 5 star with everything you need steps away.
Rooms are like a mini condo. Gorgeous, tastefully decorated & well appointed with everything you need. A fireplace, fridge, microwave, glassware, plasma TV and sitting area with a private balcony, desk area with wi-fi and even a rubber ducky in the large soaker tub!
It felt like a mini home away from home.
Continental breakfast was included and the breakfast area was a nice place to sit and plan out your day.
My only beef was the expensive parking, if you rent a car on your trip there is really no getting around the valet parking as the lots and parking around the hotel are hard to get and very pricey.
My room was in the back building facing the lobby and the alley / parking area, the hot tub was under us so it did get noisy from time to time. If you can afford an oceanfront room do it, sitting on your balcony watching the sunset would be amazing.
I would stay here again.

This was our second stay at The Beach house and it was, once again, a wonderful stay. The view from the top floor rooms are spectacular and if you request a corner room when you book, if its possible, they will accommodate your request.

PROS: The view of the water, the closeness of the Strand, soundproof walls, comfy beds and linens, nice size fridge to store your own food and wine, fine restaurants within walking distance. Very close to the airport. Housekeeping is excellent. Outstanding sunsets.

CONS: The continental breakfast and breakfast room leave much to be desired. If you are lucky enough to be the only ones, or its nice enough to sit outside, it's not so bad, but if there are more than a few people having breakfast, the noise level is a little too much for first thing in the morning. There are fruits, breads, pastries and bagels, but only 2 choices of cereal, Raisin Bran and a mixed-nut/flake cereal. Much more enjoyable to walk a few feet to Good Stuff Cafe right beside the hotel. It would be great if Beach House worked with Good Stuff to provide some kind of coupon for use on those mornings when the in-house breakfast room is too crowded. Alternatively, you can always grab something and run back to your room for peace and quiet.

If you like to read in bed, bring a sleep mask for your partner. The lights above the bed are interrogation-bright.

The rooms have fabulous LG televisions but the reception is really bad. In these days of high definition television, I don't understand why only a fuzzy, analog feed is available. I mentioned it to the front desk, but nothing came of it.

All-in-all, it's a gorgeous property and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and can't wait to return!

Rooms are nice, not huge, but I think that is normal for the area. Very clean. Beds are comfy. Walking distance to some great restaurants. Breakfast is continental, are not great. We went out for breakfast each morning.
