Dirty. Lausy staff. Old everything... they use the guest towels to clean the floor. Lots of bed bugs. Loud music evey night from the bar below. -- NEVER AGAIN -- one of the worst hostels I have ever seen and I saw many all over the world

Odile, The very welcoming manager knows how to make You feel at home and make sure You have an awesome stay. She knows everybody by their names!! Walk to the beach, pubs, restaurants... Excellent location. Will go back for sure!!!!!

Very much a party hostel. Not a bad thing, unless you're jet lagged and put in a room above a bar! But that's just our bad luck, not the hostel's fault.
The bed linen was old, but clean. The hostel in general was very clean.
The owner, Odeile, a French lady, was very welcoming and helpful.
I'd recommend this hostel to any party goers ...

Met up with mates that had been travelling all over the world here. We all met up, bought a van and went through the west coast and baja mexico. Couldnt have asked for a better base camp. Was clean enough, staff were helpful with everything. Rooms were clean enough, it was cheap and the partys was awesome!

If your going to stay anywhere in LA, Hermosa is perfect. Not to hectic, close enough to everything, and plenty to do!
