“BEWARE!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2010

I reserved a room at the Hemet Best Western, Room 107 on June 5, 2010. Upon arrival I noticed that the carpet was black with dirt and stains. This did not bother me as much as the cockroach that I found on my pillow when I removed the bedspread. When I approached the desk attendant he was not even apologetic about my fate, just asked if I wanted another room. Of course, I didn't want another room, if one room had roaches I presumed most all of the rooms would. There was no apology for the room or an offer of a discount. Then when going into the bathroom (which is the size of a closet), the paint was peeling off the walls. I have stayed in this hotel at least twice a year for the last six years.

I will never stay there again, and I advise everyone to do the same.

“Stay Somewhere Else”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2009

We selected the Best Western because it was centrally located for the funeral of the family's patriarch the next day. Were it not for this obligation we would have left.
On arrival, after driving for more than three hours, my wife needed to use the rest room. There is none in the lobby, and the clerk refused her access to the employees' toilet. She then did not at all hurry to register us and give us the room key. My wife didn't make it.
We had reserved a king size bed. I am a very large man. The queen bed they gave us, saying they had no other, simply was inadequate.
If parking is full in the small lot in front of the hotel parking in back leaves one's car subject to access by the least desirable elements of Hemet, many of whom stay nearby.
No employee made the slightest attempt to assure that we were comfortable.

“Nice place to stay in Hemet at reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 March 2009

I had to stay in Hemet to appear to local court and I decided on Best Western Inn in Hemet since there weren't many choices (Hampton Inn is in Hemet but they were charging like $130). At $84 rate, Best Western seemed more sensible. Front desk was helpful about check in and hot breakfast at Denny's next door was nice. My room was renovated recently and I felt good about my decision.

Overall, I would stay again at Best Western Inn of Hemet.

“We were very disappointed.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2008

We were very disappointed in this facility. Our room was a non smoking room, but the smoke from the people standing in the hallway smoking came in through the rather large space under the door. Large bugs also came in through this space. The fan/air conditioner was very loud but not very efficient. Our television broke early in the evening, but the staff seemed unconcerned and offered no solution.
The room was not very clean either. This motel seemed rather expensive for the quality of the room and the service. I would never recommend this place.

“Clean and affordable!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2008

We ended up needing a place to stay on December 23rd in Hemet and found that the reviews for MOST of the inexpensive hotels in the city were not good! We decided on the Best Western because we trusted the name and it was a good location.

I was very pleased with our stay there. The room was a great price ($89/night for a king bed with kitchenette) and it was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and they also offered a free breakfast at the Dennys next door. Unfortunately we didn't make it up early enough to use it....but we did go to the Dennys the night before for a late night snack! There was also free wireless access which was a bonus.

This hotel doesn't have any bells and whistles and definitely doesn't fit into the category of a great vacation hotel. But it was a good price and clean and that was exactly what we needed! We really enjoyed our stay there.....hope you will too!
