“Great value and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We are an Australian family of four. We used this hotel as a base for 3 weeks while visiting relatives. What a wonderful find. The accommodation was excellent and the little extras including complimentary breakfast or breakfast packs if on the run was great.Coffee, tea and fruit also freely available in the lobby. The small pool great for kids and spa was also nicely presented. The complimentary wireless was also great having paid up to $12.75 per per person, per day in other hotels during our stay in the states. This hotel seems to cater for people who are in Hemet for business or visiting family as hemet is not really on the tourist map. Stay here when in Hemet, it is by far the best presented property and the little extras make for a home away from home. Don't forget to try the fresh complimentary cookies every night at reception.

“A good choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

Stayed at Hampton Inn because they are part of the Hilton chain of hotels. Checked reviews before booking and had all the amenities we needed. Very convenient location to go either toward Beaumont or Murrieta/Temecula area. Nice shampoo, lotion, etc in bathroom and coffee in room. Would be nice to have tea or hot chocolate also in the room. The small refrigerator and microwave was also an added bonus. We stayed two nights and had some frozen fish we were going to give to friends. The refrigerator in the room didn't have a little freezer like some do, so the hotel staff was very nice and let us use their freezer. When we met our friends for dinner, they gave us some frozen salmon and halibut from a recent trip to Alaska and the hotel staff again was accomodating and let us use the freezer to keep the fish frozen until our check out the next day. Whenever we went to the front desk with a question, the staff was very helpful. The free breakfast was the usual for this hotel chain, but was always warm and good. I din't notice any noise as indicated by other guests, but it may have been the time of year we were there. It would be nice if the windows had added sheers so when you open your blinds, people aren't looking directly into your room. We were on the ground floor, which we loved and people could see into the room. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay here with us. We pride our selves in being the best place to stay in town. It is always nice to hear that our staff is meeting the expectations of our guests. Regarding our amenities shampoo etc. we are going to be changing them shortly to an even a better quality by March we are going to Neutrogena. So hopefully if you decide to come back in the near future you will get to experience the new changes. Thank you for taking the time to write a review your thoughts and suggestions for improvement are always welcomed.

Sincerely,

“Comfortable and safe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

For the past year I've been traveling to Hemet to be with my ailing mother. I always stay at the Hampton Inn. I find it very safe, clean and comfortable bedding. I do agree with Ayr218, it can be noisy. I can hear what is going on in the room next door, and the foot steps above us. We stayed on the 2nd floor this time, usually I stay on the 3rd floor. I do think that is the way to go. Breakfast is what you would expect. I have Celiac Disease and it was nice to see gluten free yogurt and scrambled eggs offered. I would recommend this hotel for travelers.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 3rd floor. Less noise.

“Overpriced and noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

This place, while relatively new, is a typical built for cheap slipshod construction lower end chain hotel. The walls are too thin, the floors are hollow, and there is no soundproofing. You can hear everything in the rooms around you (including snoring) and the people walking around upstairs sound like they are riding around on elephants. The rooms are nicely appointed and the breakfast quality is good.

Room Tip: If you must stay here (even with all of its shortcomings it is probably still the best place in town...

“bright spot of trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We unfortunately had to travel to Hemet/San Jacinto for a funeral. After a couple nights in a crowded house with family, we decided to find a hotel. We found the Hemet Hampton to be great. Stayed three comfortable nights. Made the trip a little more bearable. Nice to have breakfast and coffee included. convenient to shopping and restaurants.
