These guys totally screwed us. We booked on Hotwire and when we asked for two double beds, they said "that'll cost you the difference between your Hotwire price and our rack rate." Since we didn't want to sleep in the same bed (two guys working in the area), they knew they had us over a barrel... they said "we'll give you a great rate the NEXT time you come." thanks but no thanks.. there won't be a next time.

it's right off the Central Healdsburg exit and is a 2 block walk from the Plaza and downtown. the location is amazing!

the room was funny. there was a red stain on the carpet (surprisingly not wine) and some random smears on the bathroom and bedroom walls. the lamps all had the plastic covering on them. they had dispensers for shampoo and soap. still though, the bed was comfortable and clean as were the towels. can't ask for more given the location and the price.

the pool and hot tub are open from 9am to 9:30pm. this was perfect for a post dinner soak and midafternoon swim on a hot day. i'd stay here again just for the pool!

the breakfast was laughable. don't bother. the room has two tables and little room for all the guests to maneuver around each other. they had whole milk for the stale cereal. one half of the toaster wasn't working and the apple juice was so watered down it looked like water. go and frequent the Downtown Bakery instead. you will be much happier.

Stayed here for the Vineman race. It was close to the finish line and about 30 minutes from the start. The hotel was clean. We did request a wake up call for 3:20AM, which we did not receive, so please set a back up alarm as I don't think this is automated like other hotels. The wireless internet wasn't working, but we received a cable from the front desk and had no problems after that.

I would also skip the breakfast (cereal and such) and head over to McDonald's for a cheap breakfast within walking distance, or there are a few nicer diner/coffee shop places along the main drag. They tend to open at 8:00, so if you're an early bird, be prepared to wait.

I would stay here again as the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. Bring an extra pillow if you sleep with 2 pillows, like I do.

This was a last minute trip for us to Healdsburg so didn't know what to expect when we booked at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. The place looks like it was recently remodeled. The rooms were comfortable but did hear some noise from adjacent room. Other than that, it was a great affordable place for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back.
