This B&B is truly the best I've stayed in! It's located on the outskirts of town close to small boutiques and great restaurants. I booked this room for mine and my husband's birthday weekend, unfortunately my husband was ill and unable to attend. The staff at the Honor Mansion were very polite when I had to change the guest names, they greeted us at the front door and gave us a tour of the grounds and the property. They have a tennis court, bocce ball court and putting greens with equipment to use at your leisure. They offered iced tea, water and cookies for us in the lobby and at 4pm they had happy hour with wine and appetizers. When we arrived at the Camellia room they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine and a birthday cake with a card from the staff! The room was very comfy and smelled wonderful with a turn down service with mint on the pillow after happy hour. The staff was very friendly and they always had brandy, coffee, tea, water and snacks out for their guests at all times. We would definitely stay at this B&B again and looking forward to our next visit!

Room tip: We stayed in the main house but we like to try one of the suites by the pool.

A wonderful and beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful owners, walking distance from Healdsburg, a very sweet and pretty town with a huge choice of lovely restaurants. Perfectly located to explore the Sonoma vineyards. Delicious food, especially breakfast and the afternoon teas and wine tasting are something to look forward to every day. The perfect holiday retreat for couples, a very special treat. I only wish we could have stayed longer and definitely hope to come back.

Absolutely solid 5 star rating for this place. We stayed in the Tower Suite. I stay in a lot of hotels each year and I am always delighted to find places with character. Honor Mansion has that in spades, and in a good way. The Tower Suite is a little eclectic, with the bedroom on the ground floor and sitting room with fireplace upstairs, very nice bathroom, outdoor jaccuzzi tub that got great use while we were there, very comfortable bed and lots of nice touches throughout the room. The grounds are lovely, and we made use of the tennis, croquet and putting green and spent a very nice afternoon tracking the sun around the pool. The staff were superb, helpful and friendly and the attention to detail all over the property was obvious. I can't believe it took me this long to find this place, but I will be spending more time here. Great job all around.

Room tip: I really liked the Tower suite, but as the name suggests it's not for the mobility challenged, although even then the bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor so not necessarily a big issue. The Garden Suites looked lovely.

My husband and I have stayed at the Honor Mansion for many consecutive years and this year did not disappoint. The Inn is conveniently located in Healdsburg which is a great spot for day trips AND it's not hard to maintain a 2 mile radius for exceptional dining and not much driving. The place is meticulously kept, romantic, and comfortable. The breakfasts served here are casual, varied, healthy or not and currently, buffet style. The hosts, Steve and Cathy, are very discriminating about the wineries that pour during happy hour. It's friendly, always nice to share wine tasting experiences with other guests, and frequently the wine servers make such a good impression, you're happy to swing by their venues at a later time.

We just spent 4 glorious nights at the Honor Mansion in Healdsburg, and like the reviews we read before going, can't say enough about what a superb resort it is. To start, the service and professionalism of the owners, Steve and Cathi, as well as the staff is remarkable. Prior to going I had several questions about where to eat, which wineries to visit etc., even after receiving a comprehensive email with recommendations. Lupita, the innkeeper, was extremely helpful, answering my emails within 24 hours. Josette was equally informative and gracious during our stay, as were housekeeping and the breakfast staff. Although unassuming from the road, the interior of the resort is kept impeccably and the grounds are beautiful, with a pool, tennis court, basketball, croquet, etc. The room was fully equipped and then some, including often overlooked necessities such as tissue boxes on either side of the bed, makeup remover pads, shower cap, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable, and each morning we awoke to another fabulous homemade breakfast and came back in the afternoon to a delicious spread with wine and cheese Even the daily free gym membership took us to a beautiful, fully equipped gym not far from the resort. In an area known for its hospitality and exceptional service, the Honor Mansion deserves all the honors to top the list.
