We spent two day at Pelican Point RV Park. The park is well maintained and clean. People working there were polite and helpful. The best park about Pelican Point is it's location: just steps from the beach, an amazing walking/bike trail, and incredible golf course. Because it's off the main drag, there is no traffic noise. When we called for reservations, we were told that it would be best to arrive after 1:00 pm to allow time for the weekend crowd to checkout. That's okay by me because when I am the one enjoying time on the beach or golfing or whatever, I know that I have some extra time before checkout. I am sure that all of things happened in the previous reviews but it seems that those reviews have been listened to. I would strongly advise you not to miss out on a great spot on Half Moon Bay!

We read some unfavorable remarks online about this RV park about all the rules, rudeness, etc. Nothing could be further from the truth. As an RVer who appreciates the consideration from other campers to keep dogs quiet (we have one), no motorcycles in the park, noise level down, no stakes in ground, all seem reasonable in our eyes. The staff were very friendly and especially enjoyed being escorted to our site and assistance with backing in. The park is well-maintained, bathroom clean. The best part is the location right by the ocean, a short walk to the beach. We experienced the most incredible sunsets. Margie and John Weidert

Pelican Point is still one of our Clubs favorite location. The group has been coming for nearly 10 years every January. Yes, they have their rules, but it is a business. As a business owner myself, rules have to be kept. If you bend a rule for one then you end up bending for everyone. Then it becomes prejiduce and everything else that goes along with that. Since we know the rules, we live by them and all are happy. The staff is great and they do help out when they can. We will definitely be back and have already reserved our group for January 2012.

Wife and I and our dog are very glad we stayed here. We were a little nervous after reading the reviews, but didn't have one problem. The staff was very kind to us and very helpful.We will look forward to returning here on our next trip to Half moon bay.We stayed 3 nights in our 5th wheel.
