“Best service! Hospitable, polite, friendly, and warm staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012 via mobile

The best part of the trip was the staff! The food was great & the stay was very warm & comfortable like home! We loved the vintage furniture and the preserved historic hotel. We may not be able to stay there again because of the price & our family is too big for the quaint rooms. Perfect for two! Thank you Lisa & Diane for making the trip so wonderful- your service will always be remembered!

“Darling hotel, great dinner”

On the way to the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas we stopped in Groveland for the night. (This was the first time the Tioga pass has been open this time of year in 30 years). We were delighted with the Groveland Hotel, though we wished there had been king size beds available. Even more delightful was the dinner. Better than just about anything we had in the major top restaurants in Vegas.

“Wonderful hometown feel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

A friend and I recently visited Groveland, and stayed at the Groveland Hotel. It is a charming town with very friendly people. Barbara was very helpful getting us checked in, even though we were a little early! She was also very helpful about answering questions about things to do in the area, including some information about Yosemite National Park.
The room was fabulous! The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the sheets were fantastic! We also had dinner in their dinning room one night. Their cook, Leland, is wonderful (both for dinner and breakfast) and our server, Lisa, was also friendly.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

The Groveland Hotel in Groveland was an excellent place to stay as a base to then explore Yosemite. It was welcoming and cosy, and was full of history. The dining room and bar were very welcoming and my room was very clean, with a welcoming card on the bed. The whole stay was personalised and full of thoughtful jestures. Peggy, the owner of the hotel, was at the reception on my arrival and took me to my room, which was great. The other members of staff, Kim and Willow, were incredibly helpful too. All together a very good stay which I will recommend to anyone else wanting to head over to Yosemite.

“An Awesome Getaway Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

The Groveland Hotel was a nice, cozy and inviting bed & breakfast. The food and drinks were great, not to mention the service was outstanding, in particular, Leland and Barbara. My wife and I felt comfortable with their awesome hospitality and friendliness. We would like to come back during the warmer part of the year and are recommending our family to visit the hotel as well. The room we stayed in was small, but was just perfect for me, my wife and our dog. I also felt that the room was kept clean, despite the building being as old as it is. The town of Groveland is a neat place and makes for a great stop for those visiting Yosemite. I would highly recommend a stay at The Groveland Hotel.
