I stayed at this hotel for a week while I was in the area on business. It is not a luxury property by any means, but, the bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom was a bit old and the lighting a bit dim, but otherwise the room was fine. There was a breakfast provided - or should I say bagels and danish, with coffee.
The location is the winner as it is located about 30 seconds from Americana at Brand which has a wide selection of shops and restaurants and a movie theatre.
There is a pool, which was nice as it hit 100 when I was there, but the water in the jacuzzi was a very disturbing shade of yellow and couldn't be used.

There is free wifi which worked great.

All this is irrelevant somewhat as the property has been sold and this hotel is closing from December 31st.

I love this place! I visit this area twice a year, and never found anything like this until my past trip in September. No, not fancy, but clean and comfortable. FREE breakfast was great; freshest Danish pasty I've ever had (with REAL butter), tasty coffee with REAL cream, juices, cereals, bagels. Handy to have a little frige and microwave in the room. Lovely collection of FREE movies, FREE Orville Riddenbacher popcorn, FREE bottled water. Did I mention that these extras are all FREE? The location is FANTASTIC!! The Americana is in the back of the motel, and the Galleria is two blocks away,so no need to go elsewhere for entertainment. The staff was more helpful than I have ever encountered anywhere; allowed us to check in early, and even alllowed my visitors to park in their parking lot. This is not a four-star-resort, but I will be staying there in the future whenever I want a safe, fun, and affordable motel.

Its not the fanciest hotel by far. We booked it as a package deal with air and car. The location of the hotel was FANTASTIC for everything we wanted to do. The mall area the block behind was absolutely gorgeous! The pool and hot tub were nice. The a/c WAS lacking, did not keep it as cool as we like, but it was still cooler than outside. We did open the window one night to get extra cool air. The bed was VERY comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job at keeping it clean for us and the front desk people were very very nice. They even called me to let me know when we could check in early. They do look after their guests. We do plan on staying here again...it was comfortable and location, location, location. The area was very very nice as well!!

Wow, don't know where to begin. The hotel is very old and the rooms are quite small. The air conditioning barely worked. There is a refrigerator in the room but it did not keep our food cold, had to throw it all out. The bathrooms are are beyond tiny. The beds were comfortable but we could not wait to get the heck out of there, very depressing place. It's a old crappy hotel, not worth what they charge per night per rooms. I recommend that you don't stay here.
