My prior review was pulled after the owner responded. Not sure why. Our Zen Suite was very nice but I'm glad we got it at about half price as we are Joy of Life members. We had ants, but as the owner mentioned, they are in the country. The stone floors were cold. There were no slippers. We asked two different people at the desk if they have them and they said no, although the owner replied they do. So, who knows? But that was our experience. The breakfast frittata and fruit were very good as was the coffee. There is not much to do in Glenn Ellen and it lacks the charm of other Sonoma County towns such as Healdsburg or Sonoma. We will not return as there are better and more convenient places for wine tasting, strolling and dining. I coul

From Stefan's greeting and help when we walked int to coffee at 4.30 a.m. on departure, this superior small hotel delivers superb value for money in a gorgeous setting. If only the weather had cooperated, but that was not their fault. We had one of the upstairs roooms in the main house with a big comfortable four-poster, a fireplace and a view to the gardens behind and an en-suite elegant and good-size bathroom. Robes, free water, wi-fi, a welcome bottle of wine, complete the picture.
Their wewbsite does not do them justice, we agreed with other couples in the free wine and local cheese evening 'warmer'.

We booked this place for a weekend trip of wine tasting in Sonoma. This hotel setting is beautiful. There is a little creek that runs along the back of the hotel and a great pool area as well. Its feels like a very luxurious without being over the top. Perfectly quaint. We had a group of 6 and met some fun people during the happy hours in the evenings at the main house. Our rooms was very nice, had a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and just very nicely done. The breakfast was nice and casual, lots of fresh pastries and fruits. The staff is very helpful and genuine. Great little find.

We stayed in a creekside suite and the room was so comfortable.This hotel was intimate without feeling like you are in a bed and breakfast. It is a place that is very special because it tows the line between luxurious and quaint without forcing you on other couples or guests. The breakfast service was really wonderful with casual food (loved the eggs) and the area of Glen Ellen is convenient to wonderful wine and food! There is also a "mention this ad" coupon in a Sonoma tour brochure that I picked up along the way and the hotel honored the 15% off.
