When you stay at Beltane, be ready for a day or week of complete relaxation. There is no in-room telephone or TV (much to our friends dismay) and spotty, at best, Wi-Fi reception. What you do get is 1000 acres of grapes, olives, horses, cows, and trails that you are welcome to roam, all in a beautiful big old house with a porch with wicker chairs and a swing. Oh, did I mention the breakfasts? Every morning, head for the kitchen/dining room for some of the best, fresh-cooked breakfasts in the area. The staff was just great - they handled every request quickly and thoroughly. Our only problem was that, even with a three night stay, we spent too much time at wine tastings in some of the 300 area vineyards and not enough time enjoying all that Beltane Ranch has to offer. Maybe next time?
