The hotel is in a superb location for Disney goers. The staff is very friendly. However the hotel rooms were not the best. Worned out faded carpet, spots on the walls and bathroom floor, a filthy ironing board cover and a comforter on the bed that smelled like someone else had just used it (body odor) is not the Hilton standard. The"fitness center" has 2 treadmills and one elliptical machine in a cramped space. Since there are six floors you would expect a bigger fitness area and a few more machines. I tried to get a workout in morning and evening to no avail. I was on a business trip so Disney was not on my agenda. Prior to this stay I spent 3 nights at another Hilton Garden Inn in another part of the state that could run circles around this dump. The bottom line is it is time to so some minor renovations and a better job at upkeep. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member. If my room was in such a hideous condition, I can't imagine what the others looked like. Next time I will try a different hotel.

This review is long overdue but i wanted to make sure that i put in my $.02-cents worth of an opinion on our new favorite Hotel in the Disney area. My wife and i were traveling on our 12th Annual Disneyland trip with our extended family. They all stayed elsewhere but my wife and i made the best choice ever by staying at the Hilton Garden Inn this year. Our check in date was Sunday 11/27/11 and we were literally met at the front door of the Hotel by Front Desk Associate Mark M. who had graciously grabbed a luggage carrier-cart for us. Mark's cheerful demeanor and assistance was greatly appreciated after our long road trip ( + his brilliant smile and movie-star good looks was all just a bonus as well!) Have you ever just met someone and you imediately "click" and know that they're a wonderful caring person...well that's how we felt with Mark and it was our extreme pleasure and luck to have shared a few moments of our lives together. While checking in we asked Mark for his best opinion on a nice quiet room in the Hotel and he certainly obliged us as we had the most enjoyable stay at a Disney area Hotel ever! Our standard room was everything that we needed and more ( by the way it was a much better appointed room than at the Disney Grand Californian where we've stayed in the past and unbelievably more quiet and peaceful than the Grand Cal and at a third of the price as well!) Every single member of the staff that we happened upon at the Hilton Garden Inn during our stay was cheerful, helpful and very friendly...It was as if it was truly a team effort at the Hilton Garden Inn and that all staff personell realized that even though they may be there day after day it's frequently a brand new experience for their customers and they all go the extra-mile in their customer courtesy and it was most impressive to witness as a customer. Of course our annual Disney trip would not be complete without a dinner out at our most favorite little Italian Restaurant in the whole-wide-world named Buca's which is just a short stroll thru the Hilton Garden Inn's parking lot which was so convenient. Our preference also is to drive to the Disney parking garage and take the tram into the park via Downtown Disney (which is part of the Magic for us all!) and from the Hilton Garden Inn to the Disney Garage it seemed like it took us all of 5-6 minutes to drive it and that's only because we hit a couple of lights wrong. The only way that our stay could have been any better was that if the Hilton Garden Inn's spectacular breakfast Cafe and phenomenal breakfast crew staff was a freebie (like some other nearby Hotels we've stayed at)...but you know as we didn't pay for any parking to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn (unlike other nearby Hotels) it's pretty much a wash and well worth the seemingly gourmet breakfast options offered by the Hilton Garden Inn. My wife and i send our Best Wishes for a Happy New Year 2012 to the entire Staff and Mgmt of the Anaheim Hitlon Garden Inn for making our annual Disney adventure even more stress-free and enjoyable by their 5-star customer service and perfect location in the Disney vicinity. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone again this coming November 2012! You all take care of yourselves til then OK!!!

We went to Disneyland for the holidays and stayed in Hilton Garden Inn for 3 nights. It wasnt a big hotel but it was the best hotel we stayed in Anaheim. The value was perfect and the amenities met my familes needs. The bed was so comfortable and fridge /microwave in the room helps a lot. They even have free neutrogena toiletries in the bathroom. The room is always clean everytime we come back from the park. ART station is just across the hotel which is very convinient. The hotel even offer free cookies at night and coffee/ tea in the lobby. We would stay at Hilton Garden Inn again!!!

I am writing this review having just checked out and had yet another great stay at this hotel.
I have reviewed this hotel before and have stayed here many times over the last 11 years and is always my choice of hotel for this area. but after reading the negative review a few back just thought I'd add my recent thoughts.
It's a really friendly hotel the staff are exceptional especially the breakfast staff, they are really lovely.
The hotel is clean and well maintained although we actually had problems with our toilet not working properly but it was dealt with and they even left a gift in our room to say sorry and bought us breakfast.
Location is great and parking has never been a problem, all in all it's a great choice for this area it's also a little quieter than the hotels nearer to Disney. One final thing the breakfasts are really good I wish the chef could cook my breakfast every morning! We would stay here again no doubt.
