This was probably the most horrible motel I have ever stayed at in the USA. It was Memorial Day weekend and we arrived at about 10PM. They charged us $90 (including taxes) for the last room that was available. The hotel was filthy. The shower tiles were falling off the walls. The door to the room was in great need of a paint job. There was a cockroach in the room that I squashed. The screen on the window was broken and torn. The "free" breakfast consisted of coffee, bread for toasting, and cornflakes. Days Inn should be ashamed of itself. And to think the sign outside said their rooms were "newly renovated"
