Well located within the triangle of Highways 41, 99 & 180, you can get anywhere from here easily by car, but that it's close to the Convention Centre will be the maker or breaker for many. As it was midweek we negotiated to $72 a night for a 3 day stay (so never be afraid to ask!), and found the owners and staff very friendly. Free breakfast was a selection of pastries, muffins, cereal, juice and coffee in the reception area, and there was a fridge and coffee making facilities in our room. Sadly, both the bedroom and bathroom - while very clean and well presented - were on the small side and we felt very cramped. The free wifi was frustrating, as BOTH our Dell notebooks had constant issues with connectivity. Though the front desk said it was a first, it presented a huge problem to us being there on business. The night we arrived a broken light fixture was brought to the attention of the owners but it wasn't repaired during our stay despite assurances of dealing with it "next day". Foodwise, within walking distance and highly recommended for quality & value is "Joe's Steakhouse and Grill". With just one more restaurant directly across the street from Joe's (Hero's Sports Bar and Grill) the options are slim. No guest laundry was a downside for us. Certainly, there are probably better and cheaper places in Fresno, but it's by no means the worst.
