Well it was a hot summer night and the Air conditioning unit sucks… They had an oscillating fan for the room you could not open the windows due to no screens, they did have BARS on the windows for your safety. I had to take the sheets of to see if the bed was acutely a board, that’s how hard it was. No vending machines you had to go all the way to the office, this is a very large piece of property. It’s like staying at an old rehab center… Sad thing is they call this dump an Executive Inn!!! Half a Star….

For the price, this is a very good deal. It's sort of hard to find. Parkway stops and starts alongside the 99 (just remember to get off at Clinton and you'll be fine -- some of the other motels along stretches of Parkway closer to downtown are obviously high crime areas).

The lobby is just being redone. You can only buy drinks in the lobby (no vending machines). The exterior of the property needs a good cleaning and some money spent sprucing up the landscaping. The pool is in the center of a green area that has barbecues for guest's use.

The decor is nothing to write home about... I found the bed to be comfortable and everything very clean. The TV is large screen and there is HBO. The air conditioning is noisy, but keeps the room cool (and it was 106 degrees in Fresno yesterday.)

Breakfast is gratis at the adjoining steakhouse, but I didn't try it.

Pretty tired motel, a one-star at best. Employees say it is sold and will become a Vagabond Inn May 2007. Air conditioning is a rotary switch on the wall, not a thermostat. Heating is an electric bathroom-style small wall unit that did not work in my room. Old TV that only had channels 14 to 30. No safe. Breakfast included eggs.

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend with a group of people and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I was there. It has certainly seen better days - the grounds could do with a good landscaping rehab, some of the rooms smell badly, there were broken windows covered with wood, and the showerhead was WAY less than stellar (dribble, dribble) BUT the front desk staff was accomodating - they allowed us to check out several rooms until we were satisfied, the beds were fine (I'm a REALLY light sleeper and I slept fine), we had a fridge, the rooms seemed clean, the wireless worked (in our room at least), and the breakfast room was great. I was concerned about highway noise (given that it's RIGHT next to the highway) but we heard nothing and our room was on the side closest to the highway. The breakfast was good quality, and certainly beat out all the crapola breakfasts (styrofoam eggs anyone?) I've had at the Hampton Inn and similar. At the time of my visit, it was a mother/daughter who handled the breakfast - Mom cooked in the kitchen, and daughter burnt the toast out front (Just kidding). Anyways, this hotel isn't going to win any awards - my mind went into overdrive thinking of all the ways I could fix it up and make it better - but it was comfortable, quiet, and easy access to Hwy-99.
