My one-night stay in this room was part of an organized bus tour embarking for Yosemite National Park the next day, which was on the President's Day weekend.

The room on the third floor was basic, clean and comfortable enough to get a night's sleep (I am generally not overly nitpicky about a room, unless it is a complete mess). I did not venture out in the neighborhood around this Red Roof Inn as there was no need to do so, as the tour group had dinner elsewhere in town. In addition, there were no major problems encountered during the stay, except that some folks kept running up and down the balcony in the wee hours of the morning and causing the room to somewhat rattle.

The next day, there was free continental breakfast consisting of bagels, pastries, orange juice, and coffee in the lobby to be enjoyed.

I haven't stayed at this RED ROOF for a long period of time since the rooms were not in good standard but with the new ownership that took over the place is GREAT! they've remodeled most of the rooms with new carpets, mattress, new comforters, and etc. I'm very happy that I stopped there. The rate is not bad for that part of town. They are located in a decent area with the new great shopping center (RIVERPARK) Also, I've noticed that there breakfast is so much better when the old owners where there.
They've done a great job as to keeoing there rooms up to standard and all the re modling. Keep up the great work you've done!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. On the second night I was woke up at 4am by someone banging on the door. I was half awake when I went to answer the door and found the security guard was trying to remove a screen and open the window because I didnt answer the door right away .
Seems someone had complained about noise, which turned out to be a bunch of construction workers a couple of doors down getting ready to go to work. I thought it was totally unacceptable for a security guard to do what he did. I complained but they didnt even apoligize.

This place is infested with bed bugs!!
No joke we confirmed this after we were subjected to them. Silly us we didn't know what they were... Travel companion knew but didn't know what the protocol was. Hotel was supposed to inform us that all bags, clothing needed to be cleaned or sealed for 2 weeks to prevent them being carried to our residence. Thousands of dollars later we are very educated on bed bugs.
Ask to see the pest reports on that place.... They have had them for years and they knew it.... How many people have been subjected is unimagineable given the visitors that stay there on the way to Yosemite.
