In short, it is a neat and decent room with facilities like refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker. There are place to eat nearby. Humboldt redwood forest is close by. Good value at an affordable price.

We got off to a good start here with the friendly and helpful man at the desk. The room was clean, and everything we needed was in place. We especially liked the decor; the colors and even the coordinated abstract paintings were very tasteful. I will stay here the next time I am in the area.

TripAdvisor reviews got this one right. We don't like Eureka and made the right choice picking this motel just down the road in Fortuna. It really has been nicely remodeled and the clerk was very helpful. We took a room with two queens because we like a table with two chairs instead of a desk and easy chair.This arrangement made the room somewhat small and the table was right in front of the air conditioner. The sleep quality was great and the linens were very nice.
The next time we will take the king size room, even though these rooms face a restaurant across the street with a beer garden.

Friendly reception, easy check in. Sink in room, tub/toilet separate - only two towels in bathroom. Fridge, microwave, A/C. Clean, comfortable room with lots of pillows on the comfortable bed. A bit off the highway and confusing to find. Two pricy restaurants nearby. It served the purpose. I would stay here again.
