After two stays at this Hilton Garden Inn I can recommend it highly. Do not go expecting a luxury property; it is a typical Hilton Garden Inn. But the place is evidently well managed, clean and efficient. The bed is not fitted with luxurious linens, but it is comfortable and the room is pleasant and not run down. There is a little traffic noise from the nearby toll road, but it is not bothersome. The bathroom is clean and there is plenty of evenly hot water. The staff was cheerful and efficient. There is ample free parking. I didn't try the restaurant or other amenities. This part of the Los Angeles area is strewn with tacky developments, so it is nice to be near the foothills and look out on them in the morning.

How you are greeted by a great front desk staff it can set the tone for the rest of the stay. The staff (and there were several I interacted with) was outsanding.

The property is a newish typical Hilton Garden Inn with all of the HGI amenities including a microwave and small fridge in the room. The room was clean and in good shape and I found the king bed very comfortable. The TV was a CRT type (boo) but had a wide range of cable channels (yay). The internet speed was good even durning the evening when the hotel was full.

The food in the in-house restaurant was quite decent but the service could best be described as clumsy (unlike the front desk). I appeared that the sole waiter/bartender was having to do other tasks as well.

Stayed a weekend. Reviews on Trip Advisor were favorable. However this hotel did not live up to expectations. Bathroom was very small and the vent fan did not work properly. Staff was told but nothing was done. In the morning they had a breakfast for guests in the lobby but wanted over $12. Way overpriced so we went to a Denny's close by. They had coffee but not even a donut or cookie. They wanted you to buy their breakfast. Swimming pool was very small and not very inviting. We did not use it. Location was good and area was quiet. The beds were nice and we did sleep well. I might stay here again if I was by myself but I would not bring my wife here. Rooms/bathrooms were to small for two people to share. The Hampton Inn next door would be my preference in this area if I were to return again.

Pros-Room and bathroom were in very good condition. The bathroom cleanliness was above average (no mold/mildew).
The evening bar staff was great. The morning breakfast staff was great.
There is a nice walking/running trail right outside the hotel (Serrano Creek Trail).
