My business carries me once or twice a year to Folsom. When I am there, I keep returning to the Hilton Garden Inn.
First, I truely feel welcomed when I enter. Almost always I am greeted with a big smile and very possitive / efficient / can-do attitude.
The hotel has a small but very functional business center, in which you can access internet on their computers, and use a printer, free of charge. Thanks! The hotel is networked with wireless access. The breakfast is very nice, and has good veriaty of items to accomodate even my taste... The hotel is located right off hwy 50, allowing easy access.
Most importantly - the beds... when I enter the room, I can't wait to get into bed (that is - to go to sleep ;-) ). The linen is clean and crisp, and the bed is VERY comfortable, with softness adjustment - absolutely fabulous.
The only reason I did not give the hotel a 5 star rating on sleep quality *but did give it in overall rating) is due to a deficiency which, in my mind, exists in many hotels in the States: the noise level a room can have. For some reason, many hotels in the States have poor isolation, and heavy machinary (mainly external aircondition units with noisy fans) which create noise. For your common local traveler, this is not audible. For a Jet-leg'd traveler, all it takes is some stronger noise to wake you up in the middle of the night, and the rest of your sleep is gone. In relative terms, I am able to find a quiet room in this hotel, and hence I gave it a 4, not a 5. Truely, compared to otehr hotels i've been in the States it probably deserves a 5.
So, yes, Hilton garden inn - you will continue to see me when I visit the area - I like your hotel, and will gladely revisit you.
