“Wonderful from registration to check-out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

I am the President of a Non-Profit organization in the local area and we used the Larkspur Landing in Folsom when we had a last minute need for a woman and her daughter to stay temporarily. They were welcomed in with open arms at check in and the whole staff was extremely kind to the the whole week stay. She said that they all "Truly made it feel like home."

All of the amenities at the location were wonderful from the wi-fi to the breakfast and laundry, but what stuck out most was the true warmth from all of the employees that we interacted with.

“Our new favorite place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

This was our first time staying at a Larkspur hotel, and we're hooked. The accommodations were spacious and well furnished, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Larkspur really promotes their "FeatherBorne bed" on their website, and I was initially skeptical. Boy was I wrong! The bed linens were very soft and cozy, and the mattress was very good. We sleep on a $3000 pillow-top mattress at home, and the bed at the hotel was just as comfortable. Our whole experience here was truly wonderful. Not a single complaint! Thank you for a great stay!

“I wish this chain was everywhere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

I've stayed in Larkspur hotels in the past and they have always been outstanding. Our overnight stay at the Folsom Larkspur Landing was exceptional as well. Great rooms, the beds are terrific and the breakfast was enjoyable. Even the free wifi speed was amazing (I tested the speed and it came back with 5megs download speed). I wish Larkspur Hotels were more widespread, they really are a pleasure to stay in.

“Nice play to stay for family with dog”

We traveled to Folsom over the Christmas holidays to be with family and brought our dog with us. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful, from the reservations agent who helped us find a suite at the hotel that would fit our tall teenage boys into beds/allow pets to the staff at the front desk who always had a smile for us as we walked by. Breakfast was included and was a bit beyond a continental breakfast - cereal, yogurt, bagels, hard boiled eggs (cold), juices, toast and pastries, string cheese, etc. Nice selection. Breakfast area doesn't have enough tables for guests to eat; hard to enjoy breakfast on a coach with food balanced on your lap.

Overall a great hotel, better than others in this area. We will be back!

“Near the Sacramento LDS Temple”

We loved our stay in this Larkspur Hotel. It felt like home away from home. We enjoyed listening to Christmas music on the CD player in our suite (cd's not provided, of course). It was particularly comfortable that there is a separate bedroom. We stayed only one night so didn't take advantage of the kitchenette. There is a range top but no oven. It is close to shopping, lots of restaurants, and the LDS temple. The hot tub was deliciously hot on the cold night we were there. And I was absolutely delighted with the REAL art throughout the entire hotel! Framed and labeled prints from many famous painters from history, both modern and older. Winslow Homer, Georgia O'Keefe, Kandinsky, Picasso, Klee, Klimt's "The Kiss". I spent time on all the floors enjoying the art. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! PS Try the cheese and bacon bagal for breakfast.
