On arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist and after we requested a lower floor room promptly booked us in and gave us all necessary information about the area. The hotel is literally 5 mins from the main strip of shops bars and restaurants and 10 mins walk to Moonlight beach!

Had a 2 night stay here in early November. Read great reviews on Trip Advisor and they didn't disappoint. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. It was an easy walk to downtown Encinitas and the beach was only 3 blocks away which you can't beat for the price. There was a Best Western directly next door and they may have had a better breakfast, but the location and quality of the Days Inn was well on par and for $76 it can't be beat!

Overall, a tight squeeze, but very inexpensive, close to a great shopping/restaurant row in Encinitas, has a pool, with clean, recently renovated rooms.

The Cons:
The room was pretty tiny, a double bed, a small round table with two chairs, a couple of night stands and a TV were kind of squished in. Somehow, they also managed to get a mini-fridge in, which was nice. Despite the smallness, there was room for the suitcases, some hangers to hang clothes and a dresser underneath the television. The bathroom was a decent size, about the same as at my house (normal suburban, 1 -sink bathroom).

We didn't visit the pool, because we were visiting family and their neighborhood had it's own pools. Like the room, it looked small but clean.

The Pros:
The room was very clean and cleaned well each night that we requested. It looked as though it had been recently renovated with newer, clean-looking carpet, newer bedspreads, newer art on the walls, new paint job, etc.

Good place to sleep and rest up. We are on an extensive motorbike trip and needed a cheap place to rest and recover. This was that. Sixty two bucks and a simple breakfast in the morning. Room very small but clean and everything worked. I would stay here again.
