The Inn at Moonlight Beach provided a great setting for our (small) family meet-up. Cozy and inviting. After a long day sight-seeing we returned to find the common area lit with candles and Enya on the stereo. It was a very nice atmosphere for our Whole Foods take-out one night and simply tea and conversation the next. I would echo all of the other positive reviews as well. Very nice folks.

The Inn was lovely, private, romantic, and peaceful. We stayed in the Penthouse and enjoyed the hot tub and delicious breakfasts on our deck. The decor was warm and inviting, well kept and clean. Extras such as wireless internet and ice cubes were available. The hummingbirds were plentiful and beautiful.
The train was there but in this my first visit to Southern California, the train is everywhere along the coast. It didn't spoil my stay in the least.
It was so nice to unwind after a busy week of travel. Thanks for a great place to stay!!
Room Tip: I only saw the Penthouse. It was spacious and quite comfortable.

“good stay”
This is probably the best place to stay in Encinitas, but I have one complaint. I wish they'd renovate the bathrooms. Even little fixes like new shower heads & faucets would help.
