This HGI is nicer than many other HGIs. Clean, nice staff, and close to LAX. Easy shuttle ride to the airport and only a few minutes away. I'd stay again if I had to be close to LAX.

This hotel is close to LAX airport, but there are closer hotels. It's rooms are ok, but there are bigger rooms elsewhere. The breakfast is actually very good, but I've had better. The view is of nothing in particular. The location isn't near much, it's walking distance to a Ralphs supermarket, a Starbucks and a choice of restaurants and fast food outlets. So why will I stay here next time I'm travelling via LAX ... the staff. They are quite simply the happiest and friendliest bunch of people I've met at any hotel, anywhere!

This hotel was extremely clean, the staff very friendly, & the food was excellent. It was a pleasant surprise to find that even though the hotel was basically around the corner from the airport, there was no noise from planes. It also conveniently located near highways & the metro is right next to the hotel. There are also frequent shuttles to & from the hotel as well as plenty of parking available if you have a car. I would suggest including breakfast with your reservation otherwise you'll pay $11.95/day for it. The coffee is free & there are free cookies in the evening. I will stay there again the next time I visit LA.

on this hotel's website, I could have gotten the room for about 10. less, so next time I'll check there first
