Stayed here over the past weekend for a friend's birthday. Our two bedroom inside suite on the upper floor was spacious, clean, and overall a pretty great value. Driving to and from LA and Hollywood was a bit annoying, because of all the traffic, so next time I would stay a little closer, but I have no complaints from this Hyatt for the rates we got. Nice complimentary breakfast and lunch, I believe, during the week. I would indeed recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Had a suite for two weeks. Didn't hear the planes even though it is pretty close to the airport, but heard the trains once in a while. We got use to it after a short while, and we had a room facing the railroad. The room was quite big, with two bedrooms and a shared living room. The hotel was, for us, quite centrally. We visited the Disney parks, the Universal park, Santa Monica.
They could have been a bit more careful with the cleaning, it wasn't all messed up or something, but it was somewhat dirty.
The hotel was good, and the next time we are going to California/LA, we are definitely having the same hotel/room.

Stayed a night at Hyatt Summerfield Suites in El Segundo when flying out early from LAX.
The hotel is located very close to LAX, however there are no shuttle service to the airport. The staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful when checking in. I got a room in the first floor, the room it self was average, but everything was clean. I did not use any of the amenities at the hotel, since I arrived very late in the evening and had to leave early the next morning.

I had looked many times at places to stay in El Segundo as we have a lot of family in the beach area. We usually stay at the Marriott but when we have big family gatherings people always come back to where we are staying and I don't enjoy hanging out in a bedroom, I was looking for somewhere with living space.
We had plenty of space here, we stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the ground level and had other family members staying in other units on the property. Some even left the Marriott to stay here!
Everyone enjoyed the pool area and the 24 hour gym, both of which were very clean and well maintained.
The beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels in the bathroom and one of our favorite parts was the breakfast. Many different hot and cold options and a nice sunroom to eat in. We will definitely stay here again.
