Stayed in a lower unit which had a large (20x20) patio and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Room was in good condition had a small kitchenette (we brought supplies for hot chocolate!). It was quiet, even with people staying in adjoining units. When we head back to Yosemite, we'll definitely stay here again.

Front desk was a little less than helpful, despite the number of staff working.

If you're looking for a hotel with great amenities and close to Yosemite Valley this is the place for you. To begin with this hotel is just twenty minutes from Yosemite Village.The hotel is located next to the Merced River and provides great opportunities for a photoshoot of the river. Our room was good size and clean. The room itself had a comfortable king size bed with a fireplace near the foot of the bed. The kitchenette was a little small with top stove , coffee pot and microwave oven. There was no standard oven. A very nice plus was the large jacuzzi tub inside the room. The bathroom was modern and clean. The shower had double shower heads and large enough for two people. To make the rooms even better. I noticed Groupon has been offering sweet deals. The only draw backs to this place is there is no free wifi and the resturant menu selections is a little small. I would deffinately return to this hotel.

This motel is located just a few minutes drive from the enterence to Yosemite National Park. Our family including two children (6 & 9) stayed here is October 2011. The double room was spacious and it was great to be able to sit on a chair or sofa rather than having to lay on bed if wanting to relax. We ate at teh Diner on two nights of our stay and the meals were very big and good value. The one thing we did find with all the hotels/motels we stayed in on our month long holdiay to America is very few offer single beds for chidren.

We visited the Yosemite View last spring because we had gotten a great Groupon deal. Our room was everything we could have hoped for for such a great price! The jacuzzi tub was super relaxing, the Merced River was steps from our room's patio, we had a lovely little fireplace, and the kitchenette was a huge money saver.
The heated pool and hot tub were great, and packed even though it was freezing outside! We ate at the restaurant, but honestly, I wouldn't do that again. Bring your own meals to make in your room's kitchenette.
It started to snow just as we'd gotten settled, and I couldn't have asked for a better spot to watch it fall than right next to the river. Being incredibly close to the gates of the park was a big perk, and made the trip in and out much easier than other places I've stayed. If another good deal came up, I'd definitely go back!
