got a great rate at their website, booking as a AAA member. room was clean, everything worked, and the beds were actually quite comfortable. we were at the end of a hall, so it was quiet. the breakfast bar is spacious and has a nice assortment of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, and fresh waffles. when i checked out, though, the bill was quite a bit higher than the rate i had gotten when i made the reservation. apparently the night clerk girl had been more interested in her personal cell phone conversation when she was checking me in and hadn't locked the correct rate. the girl who checked me out in the AM was pleasant about it, but couldn't do anything without the manager there. i called the manager the following day and he immediately made it right, refunding the difference to my credit card. however, he couldn't find any of the paperwork about the situation that had supposedly been left for him. so the stay was comfortable enough, and i appreciate the manager's quick rectification of the problem, but there seems to be a lackluster communication/professionalism with the staff.
