The night before my arrival, I was on my bathroom floor crying and feeling helpless. I knew I needed to find myself again. I wanted to go somewhere peaceful that would allow me to reflect on why I was feeling this way. After searching several places in L.A. and Arizona. I found what appeared to be the perfect place in Desert Hot Springs. I spoke to Dr. Ramesh and made an appointment to meet with him the next day. I'm not sure if he felt my desperation over the phone but he gave me an appt. at 8:30pm. After meeting with him I decided to check in the next day. This was by all means the best decision made. The place was so peaceful. The view was spectacular, overlooking the mountains. Everything just felt right. I later meet Jason (manager) and he was so kind as well as his wife Dr. Sandi. I had a couple of therapy sessions with Dr. Ramesh. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He gave me hope and helped me find myself. We as humans tend to invest in our cars, fix our home, buy the latest technology and all those things are necessary. But we often neglect ourselves. I gave myself a well deserved “tune up” and I feel great. I highly recommend this place. Dr. Ramesh and his wife are by far one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever meet.

I been going to Nurturing Nest for well over 7 years. And each year I make my annual trip back, I am so delighted by the splendid moment of Joy Nurturing Nest provides. Our visit to the Nurturing Nest was the perfect finale to a visit to Joshua Tree. We arrived on Saturday evening, our bodies sore from hiking and rock climbing. The tranquil, candle lit soaking pool was so relaxing and rejuvenating. Our room was immaculate and lovely. The entire place exuded a calm that was very healing. If you're looking for a place that invites contemplation, I highly recommend the Nurturing Nest!

My husband love to travel and experience new places but none of our adventures afoot have been as tranformative as the many times we've spent at the Nurturing Nest.

My husband originally found this retreat 8 years ago after the loss of a dear friend. He needed a peaceful refuge to mourn the loss and heal. He found just that healing he needed thanks to the quiet sanctuary of the property and the support of Ramesh and his wife Sandy.

Through the years, the Nurturing Nest has been a place for both of us of reconnecting to each other and to the life we are focused on creating. It has provided quiet time devoid of our Silicon Valley stress, cell phones, tv, the outside clutter of daily life. Combined with the caring support of Ramesh and Sandy we always leave with newfound perspective and balance to tackle life's challenges.

Most recently (and amazingly!) we made a last minute visit to Ramesh in late December 2010, frustrated with trying to conceive and all the stress that we were adding to our lives because we had yet to get pregnant. Ram changed his schedule to see us both separately and together, listening to our experience, our frustration and disappointment...all with incredible compassion, heart, and a sincere desire to help. Through his encouragement and direction, we shifted our outlook and approach to our journey to becoming parents and thanks to this, let much of the stress of the process go. We welcomed our daughter this September, just over 9 months after spending time with Ramesh at the Nest.

Each person's journey is unique but ours has unmistakenly been touched at major life's moments by the healing waters and touch that Ramesh and Sandy have created at the Nurturning Nest! This place will truly be a part of our travels for the rest of our lives.
