Was looking for a reasonable place to stay in the area. The price was right but the reviews were contradicting. (About fifty percent was favorable and the other fifty percent was undesirable), but I took a chance. I even made a reservation to a hotel that was $20 more a night, but canceled it because I preferred the location where the Sunburst was situated. We were told at the front desk we were getting a deal, a suite at the same price as a regular room. The clerk was very nice but the room wasn't anywhere near what I would rate as a suite. I don't know why we were told repeatedly that we were getting a discount for the room when I have gotten some pretty nice rooms @ $99 a night. I figure it must be the area and the demand is high but the room was definitely not a suite. Though simple, it was clean. The first night was quiet and we slept well; however, the second night the partying, the stomping from the running back and forth on the balcony, screaming from the balcony to the parking lot, the slamming of the doors and the stench of marijuana kept us up all night! I was so tired and I didn't want to confront a bunch of party-goers. I thought "For sure the hotel security would put an end to this." but the partying went on ALL NIGHT! In the morning, while the partying and screaming was still going on, I called the front desk and asked if he could hear all the raucous and asked how they could allow this to go on all night. He acknowledged the behavior and said no one had called to complain. So I guess that makes it all right?! I told him then maybe they should pay for my room! He just laughed! We had a long ten hour drive ahead of us. So, if you don't mind the ignorance and want a simple but clean reasonable place to stay, then this is the place for you, but I recommend that you bring your own toilet paper, soap, towels. and an extension cord. The toilet paper couldn't be any thinner and the bar of soap was the size of miniature chocolate bar. The bath towels were too small and were dry and scratchy like sand-paper. The cord to the micro-wave oven didn't reach the outlet. The positive side of the location is that it's in walking distance to my favorite taco stand, Tito's Tacos. I highly recommend Tito's Tacos : )

Dear KLTMLT,
Thank you for your review and we have valued it greatly .
We humbly appreciate that you have enjoyed your first night stay which was quite and you slept well. . You found our location preferable and the room clean . Good comment about our desk clerk is always well received and appreciated. We thank you.
Regarding your second nite which was somewhat beyound our control. The guests who had rented total of 4 rooms returned late from a high school cheerleading competition and that was the cause for your concern and dissatisfaction. These kids were settling in and by midnight they had all settled in there respective rooms. There was no partying as we are very strict about disturbing the peace specially at night.
As for the latter issues in your review , an action plan is already at work that will ensure further guest satisfaction .
Once again , thank you for taking the time to write your comments and we hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you again.
