Four points tries to position itself a tad above Holiday Inn, Courtyard and Hampton Inn, but reall belongs to the same category, and thereby it is as non descriptive, generic and predictible. The standard room here is one of the smallest I have encountered with a even smaller bathroom the size one sees in London. The bathroom counter space is almost non existent. At the checkin counter there is a big display board about all the upgrades that are coming in the next few months... who cares about the future! Right now, the hotel seems a little run down, though the bed is one of the most comfortable in the industry, a hallmark of the Sheraton chain. The lighting in the room is very poor and almost depressing with industrial type white light.

As with ALL hotels in Los Angeles, parking is not free, and there is a charge of $10 per night. Location is almost ideal ( as ideal as can be in this sprawling city), it is at the intersection of 3 major freeways, and across from the Westside mall. However there are no restaurants or any dining options in the immediate neighborhood, and this is specially a problem in the morning as the breakfast in the hotel is totally inedible as with all breakfasts in this category of hotels across all hotel chains.

My buddy and I stayed here one night after staying with friends for a couple of days. We arrived after midnight and it was an easy check-in process. It is $10 to park in the parking lot (a little steep, but they've got you because there's no where else to park). The room was nice and comfortable. Slept very well. The only thing I will complain about is the lack of a complimentary continental breakfast. I've stayed at quality inns that offer a full continental breakfast for free so I was a little surprised that they didn't here. Definitely not a deal breaker, though and I would highly recommend this place for its convenient location to the 405.

I attended a two-day conference at this hotel. I was told (by the organizers) that there would be an airport shuttle but there wasn't. The cab fare was $25 each way from LAX. The hotel was a standard business-type, beside the 405 and across from a mall. Comfortable beds, clean room, free internet and I paid $109 a night. Staff went out of their way to be friendly. The conference was set up and catered very well. Clean, pool, restaurant, bar.

We arrived a little tired from OZ, Driving.a foreign lefthand drive brand new Chev convertible and once had turned around a couple of times and finally drove into the righthand carpark entrance, could I get it near to the ticket dispenser !! Two or three attempts! Once inside the lobby was small but clean, spoke to reception about our pre booked room, I also had a couple if iPad sim cards sent there, they could not find them at first, but they looked harder and found them. Staff where very good always willing to help. They said the room was not ready, after all it was 10:30am so around 11 am I said I will wait in the bar. well there was a bloke behind the bar a I asked for a beer and a gin and tonic, well you would have thought I asked to sleep with his daughters. "what at this time? Are you sure? Well if you insist I can get you a beer, but no hard liquer" I thought I had landed in the bible belt, not that way out place they call LA! Anyway we took it in good humor and after a couple o beers we were ready for a nap. Got in the room, clean tidy but a little small, I found the aircon and switched it on, it was a noisy rattlely thing but we were so tired who cares. if I was not traveling this would normally upset me. We stayed a couple of nights and looked around Culver city.The hotel is just across from a large Mall and very close to the highways, this was really good as it made finding the place a breeze. Unfortunately we never ate therefor the bar and restaurant looked very nice.
