With all the promotion Radisson and Club Carlson advertised during the last a few month in 2011, I decided to give a try on this Radisson suite. I did not have too much expectation and I was not surprised.

The hotel has quite many room. Too many that you might find the signs misleading. It is a old facility. So be prepare to observe a lot of heavy ware and stains in your room. The bed was seemly clean, but definitely not the towels. You might also find some leftovers in the fridge from the previous guests. One thing I liked was the view of the small garden. Although being very close to the interstate, it was not really too noise at night if you can get a room towards the the far end of the build. The hotel seemed to be understaffed during night.

It is understood that Radisson has a campaign to be a serious competitor in the mid-scale hotel domain, possible competing with Holiday Inns, Doubletrees or low-end Hiltons and Marriotts. Clearly, this property and Radisson in general from my past stays have a long way to go.

Good thing: Free WiFi.

after driving 8+ hours to attend a memorial service the next day we were sorely disappointed.
First impressions are beautiful, old world style, beautiful pool area and lobby.
There are quirks that need to be worked out with this hotel. When we opened our room there
were large fresh stains on the carpet and it looked like it had not been vacummed. The other
room also looked as if it had not been vacummed. We were given different rooms but the phone did not work in our room and was not able to be fixed.
Rooms were very roomy and remodeled, beds are very comfortable.

Stayed here two nights for the Rose Parade. Yes, the property is dated, but the room was clean and spacious. The pool and grounds delightful. And the price( thru priceline.com ) was very reasonable. Both couples were very happy.

On the first night we checked in, the elevator that was closest to our suite was broken, the other one down the hall had a creepy, flickering lights.

Room service was adequate, did not refill tea/coffee supplies and I'm glad we upgraded to the newer suite! Could not imagine how much worse the unrenovated suites would be.

On the good note, our suite was very roomy for 3 ladies! There's a couch and tv (which could not be switched on & no remote control) and a kitchen sink, small dining table and 2 double beds with a full bath.
